Clark County Sheriff's Office

It is the mission of the Clark County Sheriff's Office to work in partnership with our diverse communities to promote and enhance the safety and the quality of life in Clark County.

We respond to a variety of incidents and concerns ranging from domestic violence, traffic violations, and drug abuse to assault, burglary, or identity theft. We use regional partnerships and cutting-edge technology to investigate crimes, and implement innovative programs that balance incarceration with treatment, education, and community service.

Established in 1849 we are the oldest law enforcement organization in the state of Washington. We have been serving Clark County for over 150 years.

Clark Regional Emergency Services Agency

CRESA is a regional public safety agency that provides 9-1-1 dispatch, technology services and emergency management. CRESA's service area includes each of the seven cities within Clark County - Battle Ground, Camas, La Center, Ridgefield, Vancouver, Washougal, and Yacolt - as well as the unincorporated areas of the county.

CRESA also serves as the host agency for Region IV Homeland Security Office, which coordinates Homeland Security efforts within four SW Washington counties - Clark, Cowlitz, Skamania and Wahkiakum.

Washington Emergency Management Division

The mission of the Washington Military Department's Emergency Management Division (EMD) is to minimize the impact of emergencies and disasters on the people, property, environment, and economy of Washington State.

It is our mission to consistently earn the public's trust by providing the highest quality law enforcement services possible within the resources provided to us.

We accomplish our mission by providing highly-trained dedicated professionals in the areas of patrol, investigations, corrections/jail, dispatch and selected other services which meet or exceed the expectations of residents and visitors to Skamania County, Washington.
