Join CCSOSAR in the CF Walk on May 11.

This year, CCSOSAR members will march in the CF Walk to help fight Cystic Fibrosis. Why is this important for our team?  One of our own, Matt Pozsgai, lives with Cystic Fibrosis, and on May 11, CCSOSAR will march with him to show him our support.  Your participation will help fuel lifesaving research and medical programs that make a difference for people living with this disease. It’s so easy to sign up.

When you go to this link, you will be taken to the team page that McKenna has set up for us. Click Join This Team and create your user profile. This is the profile you can share with your family and friends… even if you won’t be able to march, you can still make a page and share it… donations accrued by you will go towards the team goal of $500… let’s see if we can beat that goal!

The march will be at Esther Short Park on May 11… I hope you can join us. Follow Matt on his journey at https://youtu.be/KIZIwMTEtjA

New Look!

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue team has a new look. Our previous red jackets were replaced with jackets made by a company in Portland, called Showers Pass. These waterproof Showers Pass jackets are perfect for the different terrain and weather conditions that SAR members experience while on searches. Reflective printing was done at a company in Vancouver called Brainless Tees. Members of the CCSOSAR Ropes Team are pictured debuting the new jackets.
