Today CCSO-SAR participated in the West Precinct's open house event.  Many different Clark County public safety organizations were represented from Fire District 6, bomb squads, S.W.A.T., the Sheriff's marine unit and Canines.  Visitors were treated to free food and the chance to dunk Sheriff Atkins in the dunk tank! So, sure, it rained for the first time in months but that's not going to stop CCSO-SAR from bringing the fun!  Today, CCSO-SAR partnered with the McGillivray Burgerville for a fundraiser in support of our SAR mission.  Despite the rain, it was a great event with a wonderful turnout. With prizes donated by Fred Meyer, Target, and Top Shelf Synthetics there was plenty of great giveaways for Burgerville patrons and CCSO-SAR supporters.  Special thanks to the t4r.org group for their support as well.   [slideshow_deploy id='445']
